What We Do

Aging in Place Inspections

Creating a plan

An aging-in-place inspection is a home assessment that identifies safety risks and accessibility challenges, then offers personalized recommendations to help older adults live safely and independently at home.

Technology Consulting

Solutions for seniors

We provide personalized consulting to help seniors age safely and comfortably in their own homes. From home assessments to smart technology recommendations and design solutions, we guide families through practical steps that support independence, safety, and peace of mind.

Implementing Solutions

Technology alignment

We install smart home technology designed specifically for seniors—like voice assistants, fall detection sensors, smart lighting, and remote monitoring—to enhance safety, simplify daily living, and support independent aging at home.

Home design, modification and construction

Creating new and better home environments

We specialize in the design, modification, and construction of homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) that support aging in place and multigenerational living. From barrier-free layouts and accessible bathrooms to integrated smart home systems and safety-focused upgrades, our solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults and families living together. Whether you’re adapting an existing space or building new, we create environments that promote comfort, independence, and long-term livability

Step 1

The best place to start is schedule and Aging in Place Inspection/Assessment. This is where the process of improving the quality if life for a senior and their family starts.

Step 2

We meet with the individual, family and/or caregiver to discuss the needs, challenges and issues in our “Discovery” meeting. We review the home environment, ask questions and seek first to understand.

Step 3

After the discovery is complete the RLT team will meet to review our findings and prepare our recommendations. This is where we determine what “improvements” will be identified.

Step 4

We will then schedule a meeting with all interested parties to present our findings in a comprehensive, detailed report format and answer any questions .

Step 5

There will be multiple suggestions, recommendations and action items presented. These may be immediate suggestions or future planning items. The goal is to create a “go forward” plan for a better life.

Step 6

Depending on the situation, home modifications, assistive technologies or even new home construction planning may need to be pursued. We have resources to design, install and/or recommend necessary services to complete the process.
